Biography

Sando Zou-Capuzzi, originally from Liberia, is a committed leader and former faculty member at the Pregnancy Prevention and Parenting Support Virtual Resource Center. He moved to Atlanta at the end of 2015 to pursue his career and spent five years in foster care. Sando co-founded What About Us, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young men and fathers by providing comprehensive support and sharing personal experiences. With a strong passion for advocating for young fathers' rights, Sando has collaborated with numerous organizations, including the Multi-Agency Alliance for Children (MACC), the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Third Sector, and the Center for the Study of Social Policy, among others. His professional background includes extensive experience in training and human capital development, specializing in management, organizational skills, and technical skills. Sando provides short-term training, capacity building, tailor-made courses, and consultancy services to governments, NGOs, development partners, private companies, and individuals. His inspiring journey has also led to his involvement with the IT Apprenticeship program, which inspired him to found the Pan-African Apparatus (PAA).
